Democracy morning

In the last week of term we were lucky enough to learn all about democracy and how Britain became a democratic country.

We travelled through time learning how different kings, queens and important figures influenced our voting system today.

We had no idea King John, King Charles, Henry VIII and Guy Fawkes played such an important part in our voting system. Plus, how women fought so hard to get the vote.
